This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kinder students are eager and curious to learn. They are just filled with joy every morning to get up and learn how to do something new. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a pencil.
My Project
The items I choose will help me be a better teacher and will provide my students with some resources so that they are able to use at home. I decided to incorporate some wireless headphones as I would like to be able to take my virtual class with me everywhere. With this item I can take my students outside, to the hallways and so many more places on campus. Since we won't be on campus I'd like for their voices to still be heard around the school and for them to virtually meet their campus. The laptop stand will aid in this as it will be easy to take my laptop anywhere. The mic, will help bring joy to the room as we will leave our voice print. The other materials such as the folders, pencils and crayons will help the students with their at home learning. It will provide them with some essentials they might not have at home since it might be their first time in school. Together we will learn how to use the items and their intended purpose. Kindergarteners are joyfuls students that are like sponges ready to learn and soak it all in. Resources like these will ensure they get the rich instruction they deserve.
