Help me give my students TIME for Kids. It will provide them with a great nonfiction resource.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 4th-grade students are from East Harlem in New York City. They come from diverse backgrounds and learning levels. Some are English language learners and others have Individual Education Plans. Many of the students also qualify for free or reduced-price lunches.
What I love about my students is their passion for learning, excitement to explore and their ability to have a positive outlook as they grow and learn socially and academically.
These students amaze and inspire me daily. They deserve equality and opportunity to continue to grow and achieve their dreams.
My Project
The students in my classroom would greatly benefit from having this magazine. They enjoy the nonfiction articles and it gives them a chance to understand how writers use text features to help explain what they are writing about.
In the past, we have used these magazines to form opinions for essays, use for research, and have lively class debates.
I hope to use Time for Kids, again with in our curriculum. Students always looked forward to a new set of magazines coming into our room and they would immediately start to read them. It is this intrinsic need to read that makes these magazines essential to any classroom.
