My Students
My second graders come from all over the world. They each bring their own unique talents and experiences to the classroom, and are incredibly excited about learning.
As we read stories they are constantly examining the illustrations and making observations that they are eager to share with one another.
They are always asking questions, wondering why things work the way they do, or how things come about. They love working together with one another, and encouraging each other to become leaders!
My Project
Our class is blessed to have access to laptops and computer intervention programs, however it is very difficult for students for students to effectively use the intervention programs when there are other students also using the intervention programs. The sounds from the computers become mumbled and they are not as effective as they could be if each student had their own set of headphones. Having students use headphones on the computers will also enable other students working in the room to be working in a quieter classroom!
We will also benefit from two Kindle Fires to give more students access to the intervention programs!
We will also use these to take pictures of our work during centers and demonstrate understanding! We will also take pictures of one another as we engage as effective classroom citizens!
