This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students are still working on bouncing back from a year or virtual learning with a lot of gaps to fill, but have worked so hard in their first semester! They love the family and community we foster, and incentives and rewards for learning and participation will contribute to that. Filling the needs of the students falls on teachers and funding often is also our responsibility. As the spring and summer approach, I want to make sure we have all necessities from pencils and erasers to tissues and sanitizer. Thank you!

My Project

These two flexible floor seating chairs are going to give my students support while being able to allow me to adjust my classroom and groups as needed on a class-by-class basis or say today! In middle school, students are growing rapidly and a wide range of sizes. I am so excited to get sturdy and supportive new chairs that are more flexible than standard desks, but comfortable for my taller, older students as well as my smaller ones. Thank you for your donations to make this happen!
