Help me give my students an iPad and an Apple Pencil to learn how to write Chinese characters in my Dual Language (Chinese/English) online classes.

My Students
I am a Dual Language (Chinese/English) Social Studies teacher. I have been teaching three DL classes in 6th, 7th and 8th grades since 2017. My students in the DL program are learning Social Studies in both Chinese and English, and the goal is for them to be fluent in both languages after three years of studying. More than half of my students in the DL program are Chinese-speaking ELLs and the other half are general education English-speaking students. Many ELL students are new to the US and could barely speak English. Around eighty percent of the students are eligible to receive free meals.
My Project
Due to the unique nature of my dual language program, I have to include lots of Chinese instructions and materials in my everyday lessons so that the ELL students can benefit from the Chinese translations and the English-speaking students can learn Chinese characters on a daily basis. However, due to the pandemic, all of my dual-language classes are fully remote, and I am no longer able to write Chinese characters on the blackboard as I used to when we were in the classroom. As a result, my students are missing the demonstration part of Chinese writing every day. It would make a huge difference in my students' learning if I could use an iPad and an apple pencil to demonstrate the steps of Chinese handwriting during my daily lessons. Specifically, through the new feature of the iPad called Scribble, it will allow me to use the apple pencil as a stylus to write in any text box and it converts my Chinese handwriting into text. With this feature, I will be able to demonstrate how to write Chinese characters step by step when sharing my screen to teach daily lessons during zoom meetings. My students are motivated, hard-working, and smart kids. I hope to bring back what used to be a normal part of their daily lessons in my dual language classes with the new technology tools so that my students can continue to practice their Chinese handwriting skills.
