My Project
My Pre-K students love to get some fresh air and sunshine on our faces during recess. Unfortunately, our school is in an urban area and our only outdoor space is a rooftop playground. We can't have any of the usual climbing or playground structures due to zoning laws.
I'm asking you to donate some fun outdoor activity toys to help us get some exercise and increase our gross motor skills.
The pogo sticks will get us jumping. The monster-feet stilts will get our legs moving. The ball and cups will increase our hand-eye coordination. We can use the parachute to sing songs and do circle activities. Stepping stones will let us create our own obstacle courses.
These materials will help get us moving and having lots of fun on our roof!
