My Project

My goal for the project is to making learning to read more fun! Many times, students can feel frustrated with learning the many rules and patterns to help them succeed in reading. Reading is very much a foundational skill that is needed to be able to learn most other skills. It is a skill that they will need for the rest of their lives!

Second grade is a big year for learning new skills that will ultimately lead to the success of students with their reading!

Each week they are taught new tips and tricks for decoding words. With these power pens and cards, students will be able to practice new skills and review old ones in a more fun, engaging, and interactive way! It will make what could be a very challenging skill become a bit more fun to practice and find success in! Every student will be able to enjoy their journey to becoming a great reader!
