it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember learning how to read? It is such an exciting time in a child's life! My students are on the cusp of this life changing discovery!
I am a teacher of a class of 25 kindergarten students.
My students are ages 5-6 years old and for most this is their first school experience. Additionally, my students are English language learners with English as a second language. They are amazing children and have such a desire to learn, especially to learn how to read!
My Project
My students are on the brink of learning how to read. What an exciting time! These materials provide visual support that help English language learners grow in their literacy skills. Also, it is a fun way to be able to learn sounds and sentence structure! These games are critical in providing the letter and sound practice that they need to transfer into their reading and writing!
Hands on learning is critical in kindergarten and these learning materials would be a fun and exciting way for my students to learn to read!
My students can use these materials every day during our literacy centers and they will allow the students to take an independent role in their learning!
