My Students
Make my students get up and move. My students need to exercise and I want to make it fun for all. Having fitness videos and music to exercise to can help make my students HEALTHY!
My students come from an area that has a high poverty and crime rate.
Many of my students do not get the physical activity that they need because they fear going outside to play. Obesity is another issue facing many of my students because they don't get the nutrition and exercise that they need. They love to dance and I hope that by combining fitness and dance, my students will become healthier.
My Project
My students need to get FIT. By giving them a fun way to exercise my students will enjoy PE class more than they ever have. In class my students will have fun learning how to exercise and improve their health at the same time. My students will learn different ways they can exercise at home and feel safe. The projector will allow me to show fitness videos in PE class for the students so my students can work out. The DVDs that I have requested are geared towards elementary and middle school students, and will make exercising enjoyable and fun to many of my students thus creating healthier students. It has been shown that healthy bodies helps create healthy minds, so help me create some really healthy students!
