I have a class of energetic, enthusiastic, and amazing students! Our school is a Title I school where most students come from low-income or poverty-stricken homes or may live in a motel. All of the students receive free lunch. Most are English Language Learners, while some have special needs. These students come to school eager to learn every day with big smiles on their faces, regardless of their circumstances.
At our school, there is one printer per hallway that is shared by all the teachers.
Each quarter we are given a limited amount of copies. Once we have exceeded our quota, we must wait until the next quarter to have our copies reset.
I am requesting an Epson color printer so I can provide my students with materials such as worksheets, visual aids, books for small groups, and colorful posters. I want them to feel that they were lovingly created by me! With a color printer, I can create materials and resources that are both exciting and engaging to use for my students. Color makes books so much more engaging, and it will make my students' work even more inspiring. My students love brightly colored materials and manipulatives. Being able to print in color will allow them to enjoy what they are learning!
