Help me give my students a calming corner setup, flexible standing desk, light covers, basic school supplies, a digital wall clock, visual aids, a large pocket chart, décor, and organizational tools to support comfort, structure, and learning.
My classroom is filled with 20 amazing, curious students—many of whom are English Language Learners or have varying learning disabilities. They thrive in an environment that is structured, hands-on, and supportive of their unique needs. This project will help transform our space into a calm, engaging, and accessible place where every child can succeed.
When students feel safe, seen, and supported, real learning can begin.
The calming corner and sensory tools will give my students the support they need to self-regulate and manage emotions throughout the day. Visual timers, light covers, breathing lights, and flexible seating options like a standing desk will support focus and movement. Supplies like glue sticks, Magna-Tiles, Play-Doh organizers, dry erase paddles, and scissors will allow for tactile, interactive learning—critical for language development and comprehension.
With the help of vibrant, safari-themed decorations, a calendar set, and a large digital clock, our classroom will also be visually rich and well-organized—making routines and transitions clearer and easier for all learners.
