This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items on the list are to make our two wellness rooms, located in the counseling, feel warm and safe. The rooms don't have windows so their is not natural light coming in. Brining a pop of color would make them look more inviting. The rooms are used by students only for a space where they can regulate emotions or take a 15 min break. We average about 20 daily visits from students, so they are frequently used. They are also used for their virtual therapy sessions, therefore a desk would be great to have! Thank you in advance!
