Help me give my students rolling carts to make our school snack cart and school store, "The Supply Box," mobile and baskets for all of the items to help them learn how to sort and organize!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm so grateful to have had my past projects funded, allowing me the opportunity to collaborate with the Life Skills teacher to launch our school store, "The Supply Box," and our new school Snack Cart!
Now, we are looking to turn these two successful projects MOBILE!
We'd like to give our Life Skills students the opportunity to navigate the school building and initiate a conversation with their peers, all while learning important job-related skills like counting money, taking orders, and sorting items.
For this particular project, we are requesting storage carts that are on wheels so that we can push our Snack Cart and school store throughout the hallways to increase opportunities for the students to make their purchases. We also would like storage baskets to help the Life Skills students learn to sort the items into categories and work to keep each cart neat and organized.
