My Project
My students love creating masterpieces in the STEM classroom. From pretend ramen boxes to masks to articulated hands, their favorite time in the STEM lab is when they are allowed to create in the makerspace. Parents, teachers and the community have all donated materials to our makerspace.
With summer school approaching, students will have greater access to the makerspace and we are running low on supplies like solo cups, feathers and tape.
These are the consumable supplies that we tend to run out of first. With these supplies acquired, we can focus on gathering free materials like cardboard or toilet paper tubes that are easier for families to donate.
When given free time in the STEM lab, my students tend to gravitate towards making things. It is a joy watching them be so creative! Thanks for making their maker dreams come true!
