Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I run the makerspace at my school and classroom teachers can reserve an art maker cart when they are doing STEAM challenges or art projects. I would like to attach pegboards to the side of the carts to add more items that can hang, so even more supplies can be used by are students.
Our students love using the makercarts and we also use them for school-wide STEAM challenges.
Getting more items in the hands of our students would expand their possibilities for their designs. This would also help organize the carts and make it easier for students to access the materials.
