My Students
My students want to take control of their education. They are ready and excited to discover information on their own and to take their learning to a more personalized level. Our students are from all walks of life and have a wide variety of interests and skills. Some are talented and creative artists who enjoy creating colorful educational pamphlets that describe Utah’s unique geology and rival those of the National Park system. Others are technologically savvy and want to learn about everything by research about it. Some are gifted writers and journalists that enjoy creating digital stories that discuss how dead zones are formed in oceans and what we can do to prevent them.
My Project
Adding to our classroom availability, by adding a document camera and one more desk to make room for growing students. We are growing 6th graders and we need our room. Also to make our lesson more interactive we would like to have a document camera to be able to show student's work, and class worksheets. Document cameras help to put what we are working on on the screen in real time. We can also have work done by fellow students shown up on the screen examined by the class. This also this help to give us a example of quality work.
