My students are learners from a Title One school in an urban area of upstate South Carolina. We are learning to become strong mathematicians via online instruction due to COVID-19. These students are in need of more equity in their learning experience. Please help me provide my fun, adorable, valued learners with the materials they need to grow their math skills!
My Project
Students in my virtual class often have a hard time visualizing the math problems we are working. They need a visual aide to help them internalize the multistep math processes we learn in fifth grade. I would like to be able to demonstrate, via iPad while using a stylus, as I teach these lessons to my online learners.
To overcome the hurdles of teaching virtually, I think this material would help make the Math instruction feel more one on one and personal.
Students would be able to watch me work out the math problems up close just like I would do in class.
