This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom uses various math programs that require them to use headphone to be successful. It is very difficult for the students to focus when there are different sounds coming from dozens of laptops at the same time. These headphones will allow students to focus on their assignments without so many distractions. Not only will these headphones help all 3 of my classes, they will help those students who require headphones during exams due to reading disabilities. These students have the opportunity for the text from our math word problems to be read to them during exams. The headphones that are donated will allow these students to successfully listen to what the computer is reading them without getting distracted by sounds coming from other areas.
