My Project
I am a math teacher. I teach students who are 3-4 years below their grade. Over the COVID years these kids have fallen behind in their Math Skills. They have had to work through their Math Anxiety and their learning gaps in a time where COVID was hitting the hardest. Many of these kids hate Math and all that it entails. I really do think that they can come to love Math when some of their gaps are filled in. These kids are anxious to learn and I KNOW these activities will enhance their learning. My goal and focus this year is to make MATH FUN AGAIN!! Math Lab will be run with centers and activities and I am determined to help these kids love Math again and I truly believe that can happen with activities that will strengthen their skills. These activities, games, and manipulatives will be a wonderful addition to my class and I am truly grateful for any help that I can receive. Thank you for helping me MAKE MATH FUN AGAIN!!
The Lakeshore Fractions Hands-On Teaching Kit, Money Hands-On Teaching Kit , and the Fractions & Decimals Hands-On Teaching Kit which will help in their concrete and abstract thinking.
