This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with students who struggle in math. This year I started putting them in random groups, and their conversations have blown me away! They are figuring out the problems with very little prompting from me. They are EXCITED to work in groups, ask for groups, and feel a sense of accomplishment that they were able to work through the tough problems themselves.
Within the groups, it would be great if we could put our work vertically on whiteboards.
This gives them the ability to stand back and view what they've done and where we need to make changes. They already love the setup, this would take it further.
I know these boards are expensive, but I did research on what will seem to hold up the best. I hope to use these year after year! THANK YOU!
