My Project

As a reading interventionist, I work in small groups with struggling readers. I am so proud of each and every one of my kids, and I love celebrating their growth in reading. That said, my students are often frustrated; they notice their peers passing them, and these feelings make it difficult to keep working hard day after day. I support them by motivating them, and by making learning fun.

With these tools, I'll be able to reengage students who have become disillusioned with the learning process.

By making their time in group more engaging, I can encourage their drive to become better readers, and ultimately foster a lifelong love of reading. With your help, I can make these multisensory activities available to my students and engage my learners in more interesting and meaningful ways.
