My Students

My students are amazing! Our school is located in a rural part of central California in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. We love our community and the natural resources we have in our area.

Many of my students come from middle to low income families.

My students come to school every day excited to learn something new and ready to take on a new challenge. While our students have many obstacles in their lives, they persevere and succeed.

My Project

STEM, what's not to like? Kids love learning in a hands-on way and STEM activities are the perfect way to get all my students involved. Teachers Pay Teachers is a resource where teachers who have created resources can post them online for other teachers to purchase.

I plan on purchasing STEM activities that will support our regular classroom math and science curriculum with hands-on activities.

Through these activities, students will learn to work together to solve problems.

By helping to fund this project, you will be helping to improve math and science instructions in my classroom so all students will have fun while learning!
