This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator dedicated to fostering a love for learning, I am reaching out to seek your support for vital classroom materials that will enhance my students' educational experience. The Lakeshore Engineer-A-Coaster Activity Kit, along with magnetic wands and headphones, will provide hands-on opportunities for my students to engage in engineering projects and science experiments. These materials are essential for sparking curiosity and creativity, allowing students to explore fundamental concepts in physics and engineering while developing critical problem-solving skills. Additionally, the headphones will ensure that all students can focus on their individual learning tasks without distractions, particularly when using technology to enhance their understanding of various subjects.

If my project is fully funded, I will implement these materials into our curriculum immediately, creating a dynamic and interactive learning environment.

Students will work collaboratively on engineering challenges, such as building roller coasters with the activity kit, which will not only reinforce their understanding of design and physics but also promote teamwork and communication skills. The magnetic wands will be used in science experiments that encourage exploration and inquiry, allowing students to discover the principles of magnetism firsthand. With the addition of headphones, I will integrate technology-based learning tools that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring that every student can thrive. Your support will make a lasting impact on my classroom, transforming it into a vibrant space where students are excited to learn and explore.
