This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have not had the chance of being together in band for a long time. My school is starting 4th grade band this year and every single kid is excited to try out and be a part of this unique experience. Many tools and materials are unobtainable by families so being able to provide these small items will give them the best chance of falling in love with music.

I want to provide every possible tool to make their learning experience a memorable one.

With items in this project, I will be able to give them that chance that they rightfully deserve. Tools in this project will help with repairs to instruments that will then be handed to students. Tools such as the pliers, mouthpiece puller, and spring hook are essential to any music classroom repiars. Saxophone and clarinet reeds are vital to making sound out of the instrument. These items help students be prepared to learn how to play their instruments.
