This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my 4th grade students are amazingly talented and hard working. We are going through pencils left and right. I'd like for them to be able to sharpen their pencils with out taking too much time so they do not lose momentum or get distracted. Also, we would like a different pencil sharpener strictly for colored pencils. This group of students prefer colored pencils as their coloring medium rather than crayons or markers. The handheld sharpeners take too long and don't provide the right level of sharpness for their masterpieces.
