Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is very important that students learn about financial literacy at a very young age. In second grade we learn to count money and make change. I will read the financial literacy books to the students and have a rich discussion wit them about money, its value, how to make change, the importance of investing, and the difference between a credit card and a debit card.

We will also set up a class store to simulate buying and selling products.

All students no matter their age needs to know the value of a dollar and education is key!
