My Students

Rita Levi-Montalcini said, "Above all, don't fear difficult moments. The best comes from them." Our students are such a shining example of this. When faced with adversity, they don't see it as an obstacle, but a challenge that will make them better.

Our students look forward to coming to school every day.

We are a small Title I school with a diverse population of students, including military families. My classroom is the media center, which serves over 200 students each week. Our school participates in a CEP program that allows all of our students to receive free breakfast and lunch. Our students are faced with so many challenges in life, but our school provides them a sense of safety and consistency where they are free to explore, inquire, and create!

My Project

School supplies and materials are always a challenge for our students and teachers alike. Having this requested laminator film will allow teachers to create materials for their classrooms that students can use over and over again. Anchor charts, center activities, student projects, posters, reading logs, and homework folders are just a few of the items our teachers need to laminate on a daily basis. With this GBC laminator film, students will benefit because they will be able to reuse materials and their projects will be protected. The goal of this project is to cut down on the waste of paper and materials by constantly creating new resources. It has become very costly for parents and teachers to continue to provide materials that could be laminated.

By donating to our project, you will help our teachers create reusable, hands-on materials for our students.

This will provide durability and cut down on the need to replace materials throughout the year.
