Help me give my students access to our reading passages by purchasing sheet protectors to keep our reading curriculum in great shape for years to come!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Teaching as a reading support educator is always exciting and adventurous. It is fun to find ways to bring reading and literacy to life, in multiple formats, for my students.
A majority of my students are receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
Although some of my students may not have much at home, they come to school eager to learn and be with their peers. They are happy students who want to learn. The light that shines through while they are working hard and making successful growth is a sight to behold!
My Project
Our new reading support curriculum comes with great reading passages as well as other reading grids for students to use to strengthen the reading/phonics skills we are practicing. Currently we do not have enough sheet protectors to place all of the reading materials in, to keep them clean and usable for a long time to come. These sheets protectors will allow us to get the reading materials into the students hands. This gives the student a practical real opportunity to use the skills we work on in groups. This is an important part of making our reading curriculum easily accessible to all of our students.
