My Project

My students thrive when learning feels like play. I’ve seen it firsthand—when I bring out the few hands-on math tools I’ve personally purchased, like magnetic fraction circles, a thrifted pizza fraction game, and a place value math-stacks game, my students light up. These interactive tools allow them to grasp challenging concepts like fractions, decimals, and place value in a way that paper-and-pencil work or computer practice alone can’t provide.

To truly support my students, I want to expand these resources.

With pre-printed dry-erase boards featuring graphic organizers for long division, multiplication, and place value with decimals, students can visualize their thinking and work through problems more effectively. Engaging math games will allow them to practice independently or in small groups, reinforcing key skills in a way that feels exciting and achievable.
