Help me give my students opportunities to organize their daily lessons using pencils & binders.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Thompson's classroom raised $674

My Project
I teach 8th grade Social Studies in a financially marginalized district that lacks funding for common classroom necessities and supplies. Our class sizes for the coming school year will be 25 to 28 students in each section.
I truly enjoy engaging my students in the study of the reasons and origins of our cultural diversity as we explore the early history of the US.
There will be a series of project based learning assignments that will utilize the supplies I have requested. The binders and pencils will help them record and organize their daily lessons, and the markers & colored pencils will allow them to creatively express their evidence of learning through artistic media like posters and maps.
These classroom supplies will be tools for learning and expression that may not otherwise be available to them. Thank you in advance for helping my students to access their potential through both traditional and non-traditional learning!
