Make First Grade Fantastic!

Help me give my students a happy, colorful, and fun first-grade experience by covering my room in colored chair pockets, brightly-colored utensil boxes on each of their desks, and creating inviting spaces throughout to make it a fun classroom!

My Project

Every year I create a community of learning for first graders that fosters encouragement, self-esteem boosting, and a whole lot of fun!

When each first grader walks into my classroom, they are greeted with friendly colors everywhere to enhance a positive and welcoming vibe.

There will be colorful chair pockets and coordinating utensil holders on their tables. There is an inviting reading nook with a variety of books that are displayed on shelves that are easy to see, and special seats for those who need them.

Other items I requested will help our class create charts and spaces that help students access information during independent work time.
