I have some wonderful library shelves in my room waiting to be filled! At the beginning of the year, I collect lists of my students’ favorite choice books. Later, a local librarian gave book talks over 16 novels, and I collected my kids' requests. I added a few art supplies for our more creative projects and 8 copies of a card game which has some awesome mythology references. Overall, I just want them to find a bit of peace, if not joy, in reading.
I believe everyone is a reader - they just need to find the right book.
