Help me give my students visuals that are color coded. The printer will allow me to make the color copies and I can laminate them to post them as reminders.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a color printer because it will allow me to make posters and highlight the important parts. When teaching special education and EB students making any consistent color coding allows them to make that connection and minimizes misconceptions. (Graphs with the x axis in blue and y in red.) I also requested laminating pouches because I post the examples around the room and use the laminated examples as hand outs for the students to work with their expo marker. (Less waste) Lastly colorful expo markers so that when giving the examples I can follow the same pattern and ensure they can make connections with any and all tools I can provide. The headphones will help students with accommodations of text to speech as well as for reference videos.
