My little learners are 3- and 4-years old and are in school for the very first time. I try very hard to make parent engagement an integral part of our school year. Not only do I like to have the parents participate in special activities in the school, but I like for them to work on activities at home with their child as well.
With the Teacher Pay Teacher gift card, I will be able to purchase activities in various subjects that the families can work on together at home.
For example, I found some fun math games that I can print and laminate, add some directions and dice and send them home for family fun! My goal this year is to send home one game/activity per month. This will build a bunch of games for a fun family night of learning.
