This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We live in a world where technology is constantly changing the way we live. My students live in a high poverty area in New York.
The class consists of general education and special education students.
They love to write and dance. Students have limited exposure to experiences that excite, motivate and inspire them. With budget cuts in education, they are deprived of basic resources.
My Project
We need ink so that we are able to print out our writing and work. The students love typing up their writing pieces and we would like to be able to print them out and display them in the classroom and school. Sharing and showing their work would be a valuable tool for my students. The smallest things can make the biggest difference in the lives of my students. The pride and self-confidence that this can build is invaluable. Please help my students show their work!
With your help my students will have a much-needed resource that will make a lasting impact in their education.
Thank you so much for your generous donation and for caring about our education.
