Help me give my students a comfortable space to sit. This will benefit my classroom greatly. They sit " on an imaginary carpet" (floor) for storytelling and pair shares but hopefully this will change soon. Blessings!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a first-year Kindergarten teacher at an Elementary School.
This project will help my students tremendously, encourage independence and provide a safe engaging learning environment.
Not only they will benefit from it in many ways but class would be more manageable and easy to avoid distractions.
At the moment I tell my students to go sit “at the imaginary rug” and they don’t hesitate and sit on the floors.
I can’t wait for the day that they actually have their own spot, don't damage their clothes, and learn day-by-day practice about personal space and how to respect it.
