This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My third-grade students come into the class full of curiosity for the new experiences they will explore each day. I teach in a Title I school in New York City and the students come from many diverse backgrounds. Some of my students are from South America, Asia, and Europe.
My third graders come to school eager to learn and work together as a team.
The students in my class are hard working and caring. They are always so excited about working together, sharing ideas, and doing fun class projects.
I really try to make our classroom like a family unit which is caring, nurturing, and respectful. I want my third graders to appreciate each other and their learning environment.
My Project
My students get mail to take home to their parents on a daily basis. The students would benefit greatly from having an organized location where they can pick up their mail every day in the classroom. A mailbox system would help all outgoing paperwork to be neatly stored in class.
Having a classroom mailbox will help keep all important paperwork for the students organized and will allow them to access mail quickly.
This mailbox system will help to keep all important documents going home in one organized space.
We thank you in advance for helping to make our learning environment successful and organized for all learners.
