Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is in desperate need of a Mailbox Makeover to help my students keep track of their papers and homework. The children will be organized, responsible, and aware of their own learning. By utilizing and maintaining their own mailbox, students take ownership of classroom communication and develop important executive functioning skills.
Our current mailbox has been damaged as it is cardboard and used daily.
At this time, the students are doing their best to be independent with organizing their papers but materials are getting mixed up. The children, especially my students with disabilities are frustrated and having trouble with our daily routine.
