My students need math manipulatives for math centers. My students need fraction tiles, math folder games for various strategies (place value, time, money, etc.), fraction quickies, and a game to help add.

My Students
Paul Halmos said, "The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics."
My students are curious and eager learners!
My class consists of 12 special education students who are lively and eager to learn new things every day! My students are in a self-contained classroom due to their specific learning needs. I continue to strive to maintain a positive, exciting learning environment each and every day!
My Project
These mathematics manipulatives and mathematics activities will be used in various ways. All these materials will help my students gain a better understanding of how numbers work and will allow them to interact with numbers in a more hands-on fashion. All of these materials will be used during mathematics centers to ensure that all students can reach their learning potential.
The fraction tiles and fraction quickies will be used specifically with my 3rd-grade students as they explore the world of fractions for the first time! The "adding up to 30" game will help my second graders learn how to add and subtract numbers more fluently. The fraction tiles and activity will help my third graders understand equivalent fractions! The math folder games will help develop and reinforce students' skills in the areas of operations and algebraic thinking, numbers and operations in base ten, measurement and data, place value, money, and time.
These activities and manipulatives will take number skills to a whole new level in our classroom.
Students will improve their addition, subtraction, and fraction skills with these materials! Students will be able to develop their number sense in fun and engaging ways through the use of these manipulatives and materials.
