Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project will help my students open their minds and let their imagination and creativity come to life. Some of the items selected are replacements from old items we’ve had in the classroom that have been over used or items misplaced from sets.

The magnetic tiles easily connect and make for easy construction, which helps with their imagination.

It also encourages the children to build on their social skills by sharing ideas and plans with peers.

The laminating sheets help protect their projects, drawings and written plans as they progress with their writing.

The goggles help the children imagine they are scientists while they pretend to play in the science area or in dramatic play.

The bean bags and other supplies selected will be used in different areas of the classroom and projects to be sent home so that the children can share what they are learning with their families.

I want to thank you all in advance for allowing my students to learn and grow as they explore their environment and world while using these supplies.
