My Students
My students are social and emotional beings with varying degrees of prior knowledge when they walk into the classroom. They are creative, thoughtful, and extremely inquisitive. They love hands on activities that challenge them to find solutions. It always brings a smile to my face when they tell me that science is their favorite class. They inspire me daily as I watch them learn and grow.
My Project
My students have the use of one microscope. They are fascinated with the things they view. These microscopes will give us the ability to work in small groups observing the wonder of seeing things that cannot be seen with the naked eye. We will explore plant and animal cells, insects, bacteria, and a myriad of other things. We will learn the way to use a microscope correctly and respectfully. It’s a fascinating world that will open up to them and spark their imaginations. We are hopefully encouraging scientists of tomorrow.
