Help me give my students learn through magnetic activities that make learning interactive.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lee's classroom raised $596
This project is fully funded
My Students
As a teacher in a special education self-contained classroom in a low-income school district, my students are faced with challenges inside and outside of the classroom. Despite the many challenges that my students are facing, I am looking to provide them with a fun, interactive, and meaningful learning environment.
My students have a multitude of needs including physical, cognitive, medical, fine motor, sensory, and communication.
They love learning through a multitude of different means such as sensory activities. They learn best though creative and sensory activities.
My Project
All of these magnetic materials can be used to help my students work on their fine motor skills and academic goals. Most of my early childhood special education students have goals to work on their fine motor skills such as tracing, making shapes, and letters in their names. The magnetic uppercase letters, numbers, and shapes will allow them to work on their pre-academic skills. The magnetic whiteboards will allow our blackboard to turn into a whiteboard.
Magnets can help students used to help student learn new academic skills.
The activity boards will help them work on identifying their colors and shapes. During covid-19, these activities will be able to be easy cleaned between each student and allow them to continue to do centers throughout the day.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
