Help me give my students a place where they can visually see their learning on a magnetic white board in order for them to learn their numbers, addition facts, letters, spelling and so much more!

My Students
My students have been greatly affected by the transition from school to distance learning. My students have been faced with many challenges since leaving my room in Kindergarten. My students are now in stage of great transition as many have moved from one home to another in an attempt to provide the safest shelter possible. My students live in a community that has been greatly affected by the virus and many have lot family members and are now working through the grief and trauma that brings to a family. My students are now navigating new homes with new family members and new schedules all while trying to stay in a school mind set.
My students are full of curiosity and wonder and still deserve to have access to materials that bring joy to learning even if they are not in school.
My students are currently learning at home via phone calls paper packets and our digital platform. They currently have paper, pencils, crayons and scissors, but deserve so much more to keep them engaged and excited to learn in kindergarten!
My Project
A magnetic white board is the most used tool in my classroom. If I were to have one while teaching virtually I would be able to place all of the magnets behind/ next to me so students could have a better visual of their learning. Being able to place anchor charts, or write on a board next to me would allow for smoother instruction by being able to quickly move to the side and write on the board. This also is a great place to leave learning up on the board so as I continue teaching students while still having a visual as to what we worked on or reviewed.
Having materials that are always visible and easy to see for students is key when teaching virtually.
When I'm using the digital platform and I don't have a central location for all of our learning to go it makes things messy and more difficult to keep track of. I've been using the sticky poster paper but it often will fall off my wall. Having the easel would allow me to keep all of our anchor charts safely attached and not worry about their visual falling mid lesson.
When teaching small group lessons it would be really helpful to have these extra tools like the magnetic letters/numbers, number chart and decoders to be able to show my students the different representations of numbers and letters and words. It would provide a stronger visual for them by allowing them to access the content with a higher success rate. Overall, these materials would be a huge help in delivering high quality lessons to my students all while keeping things fun and joyful.
