My Students
My students are from rural NC, and they chose to attend our college prep charter school. Our students are creative, enthusiastic, and inquisitive. Even though they may come to school with a lot of baggage, they continuously strive to get the best education they can. They believe education is one key to success.
My students have a hunger for meaningful hands-on experiences.
When they walk into my science class, you can see the wonder in their minds, curious about where science will take them next.
My Project
Our students thrive with hands-on experiences. While learning in science class, our students need more materials that will allow them to fulfill their tactile needs.
These magnetic science tools will be used to help bring out our future engineers, contractors, and overall thinkers.
These will line up with standards that are being taught in science class for all grade levels k-4.
STEM careers are booming and will continue to boom. I want to introduce my students to as many opportunities as I can, as early as I can. This will have them starting to understand that they really can be what they want to be when they grow up.
