Help me give my students 3D magnetic builders, and magna tiles, for small group hands on stations to engage students in learning about shapes and geometric concepts through building and imaginative play.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My active TK and Kindergarten students become focused, innovative, and collaborative problem solvers when doing hands on learning activities.
Adding magna tiles and magnetic builders to our small group learning stations will help my eager young learners deepen their understanding of geometry.
Our students explore geometric concepts as they use some triangles to make squares, other triangles to make rectangles, and make magnificent 3D structures using 2D shapes. They learn the importance of working together to build with only a limited number of shapes. They plan, talk math, and create.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
