Magnetic Personalities

My students need a magnetic field demonstrator, a poster, 3 classroom magnet kits, and more magnets to play with and learn the science curriculum required for fifth grade.

My Students

Background knowledge must be built for these students. They can't just read about this one. They need to experience the reality of magnets and how they work. Hands on experience is what will help these concepts solidify in their brains.

Our students come from a Title I school, which means that over 95% of them are under the poverty level.

Some of them are from the homeless shelter and some are from the refugee center. A large number of them are new to our country and are just learning English. They need to be provided resources for learning.

My Project

These resources will provide the fun and active part of learning that will help build a background knowledge and show the students the reality behind the words. The students will be able to experience the north and south polarity and connect with the required reading. They will be able to see with their eyes and touch with their hands to get real kinesthetic learning.

Your donation of these great materials will help these students to use kinesthetic learning styles and relate to what they are reading.
