This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright, imaginative, and eager to learn through hands-on play. As kindergartners, they thrive in environments that allow them to explore, build, and collaborate with others. What makes them special is their endless curiosity and the unique ideas they bring to every activity. Many of them are learning how to express themselves, work as a team, and solve problems for the very first time. I want to nurture their creativity while building foundational skills in STEM, literacy, and social development.

This project includes magnetic tiles, LEGO sets, marble runs, building discs, and logic puzzles that will support fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and critical thinking.

The STEM Explorers and construction sets will encourage trial-and-error learning and promote collaboration. The whisper phones will be used during independent reading to help students hear themselves and improve fluency and pronunciation. Each item is carefully selected to help my students stay engaged and challenged while making learning fun and meaningful.

My goal is to create a learning space that fosters imagination, builds confidence, and supports diverse learners at their own pace. With these materials, students will not only explore science, engineering, and early math concepts—they’ll also build perseverance, focus, and pride in their work. This project will give them the tools they need to grow into thoughtful, capable problem-solvers both in and outside the classroom.
