Magnetic Mathematicians

My Project

My students are so excited to learn. They are curious about everything in their world, and I love being part of their learning journey!

My class especially loves to learn through activities and through play.

This develops so many skills, from fine motor skills to social skills. When others might just see play, we see learning!

With these MagnaTiles, students will develop in particular their spatial awareness as they experiment with different shapes, supporting their developing understanding of geometry. They tiles are also magnetic, allowing us to also integrate them with our science unit on force and motion.
