This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing, funny, kind, caring, sweet, and hard-working. Our afterschool program helps keep students safe and engaged with enrichment and academic classes at our low-income school. They love staying afterschool and have so much fun learning from their dedicated teachers and volunteers.
These magnetic blocks will be used during their homework hour and when they are at centers.
Our students will work collaboratively and independently with these magnetic blocks that support fine-motor skills and cognitive skills to spell their names, their spelling words, and build short words and increase their vocabulary.
