Help me give my students magnetic letters and whiteboards to practice forming and reading CVC words. These magnets will help my students use their letter sound knowledge along with physical movement to help them read words!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a Title I Funded Public Kindergarten in Southern California. About 2/3 of my students are English language learners. At our school we strive to help students become leaders who value quality education and embrace their role as contributing members of our diverse community. My students are amazing, and your contributions will make a huge impact on them every day! Thank you.
My Project
Young students learn and remember best when they are connecting their minds to their bodies. Help my students learn their letter sounds and how to read simple words more efficiently with these awesome magnetic letters and magnetic whiteboards.
Students can use the magnetic letters to place and drag on the magnetic boards.
Then they can write out the words on the lined space on the back of the board for handwriting practice. Your contribution with this project will give my students daily access to this valuable learning tool, which will greatly benefit their journey to becoming readers! Thank you so much for your consideration.
